Worst storyline, interface and combat system I've ever seen in an RPG. An absolute bomb.

Graphics are nice in this game, when they work. Aside from that, this game has nothing going for it. The combat is innovative, but that doesn't mean it's fun. The storyline is absolutely dreadful. Some cheesy young kid is off looking for his kidnapped sister and the dialogue is some of the most poorly written I've ever seen. All of the characters are poorly fleshed out. The things they say don't really just make you shake your head and facepalm.

I've never been so put off so quickly by a game before. I lasted up until the first city and nothing piqued my interest. This is a clunky, cheesy and moronic mess and I only the most desperate RPG'ers should even bother with this steaming pile of donkey crap.

This, more than any other game I've played, is a perfect example of failed game design. Nothing worked out I'm sure the way Square intended and I sincerely hope that RPG players wake up to the fact that Square Enix has been feeding us the same garbage over and over again since FF8. The only thing they've improved in that entire time is their graphics.
