made of the KOF franchise what it is .....was ? but this is not the Arcade version .
The cast of characters is no different from any KOF game you got Terry, Kyo, Iori, Robert, Ryo, Mai, Athena, King, Ralph, ( Leona and Chizuru in their first game ) , but the important thing here is how well-balanced are the most of they since some of the best versions of this characters were here .
While presenting the usually long loading times periods beetwen rounds this versions keeps some of the important stuff like the excellent soundtrack, the great challenge, the cool graphics, the gameplay movibility is a lot better than 95, this was actually the first KOF that played like a KOF game instead of a Street Fighter rip-off ( ok that was confusing but if you know KOF games you know what i mean ) .
The challenge like i said is pretty good while battling against teams but can become frustating against the overpowered bosses using Super Powers whenever they want . KOF 96 is one of the best fighting games if i were talking about the Arcade version i'll give it a perfect score .
