The Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction is the newest game from VU Games / Sierra publishers and there is quite a bit of fun to be had. The game stars, well of course, The Incredible Hulk and his objective Ultimate Destruction. In a game where you can pick up cars and huck them at local police cars and watch the pretty explosions that will not only take out the police but the line of cars behind him as well. It is not necessarly a new concept for video games, but as it still remains fun, we can keep playing these games. The other part of the game is closely related to Spiderman 2, as you can blow everything up (Mercenaries) you also have free roam of a large city. The graphics are quite amazing as they should be, blowing up buildings, cars, and just about everything you can think of, it looks well ... it looks cool. Particle effects are numerous and vehicles look okay. The best thing about the game is how manythings can be going on at one time and the game is able to maintain a pretty steady framerate. The occassional slowdown is nothing that your likely to really notice. Sound, this is another area where the game shines. The boomy sound of the the Hulk's footsteps is a nice touch and when he slams to the ground we can he the specs of asphalt and dirt. There is not much music to be heard, but what there is, is good. Overall more than anything The Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction is a suprise. I personally just caught a glimpse of it on this website weekly show 'On the spot' which was a nice suprise. So if you are looking for a fun game with lots and lots of stuff to blow up, look no further than this game. Peace!
