Some good ideas unfortunately lacks polish and the quality falls short. Awful speech, bad animations, low replayabilty

The combat follows the known formula of Diablo style hack-and-slash style, with attacks mapped to the mouse buttons. Your Van Helsing will also be able to switch between sword attacks and gun attacks which is the basic combat mechanic of this game

One of the first things you notice is that the speech is pretty bad and the animations design is dated (fortunately the game environments look much better). There are also a lot of jaggies in the graphics i do not understand why the developers did not add an Anti-Aliasing Mode, the options menu is an amateur work from the programming point of view...

The story is a bit cheesy with some "humor" between the characters and the quests are varied between some good ones and some very generic quests that you have probably played one million times in Diablo titles...

Since the game is very linear after you finish the game there is no reason to play it again.

PS: I have not tried the multiplayer part of the game because i do not care about it. I care mostly about single player for these type of games
