User Rating: 10 | The Incident IOS
The Incident is an awesome 8-bit game and makes way for a fun, challenging, and addicting experience. In Story Mode, you control a character through seven different environments. In the gameplay, you move left and right and watch the white bar at the top of the screen to see where the falling object is going to land, and you must move out of the way to avoid being crushed by them. Then you must continuously try to jump to the top of the stack of objects that build and pile up higher to the top each time. The length of the white bar also determines how long the real object is going to be. This game is very intense and can be extremely hard and frustrating at times. But there are flags which are checkpoints, so you have nothing to worry about.

I love the concept of this game so much. It seems quite original like it has been used and I have played something else like it before. I just can't remember anything on the top of my head. Maybe I am wrong. I don't know. You have to be quick in this game and have a fast reaction time to a stimulus, which in this case would be the falling objects. You should always climb on top of the biggest object when the time comes for it to fall. This will keep you from getting stuck under the pile and having to shake your device to escape. But if they are small objects, you do not have to climb on top of it until the big object comes. You can and there are times where you will need to, but it isn't always necessary. Sometimes it is, but sometimes it isn't. You will know once you play this game.

There is also an Endless Mode where you can just see how high you can go before you die. I haven't tried that yet, but obviously I already know what that is like. It's nothing different than Story Mode except it's endless. It's the same gameplay. I have never seen or played a game like this before, and now that I have discovered something new and different that I actually like other than a platformer, I think it is incredible. This is not at all whatsoever a platformer, but it does somewhat resemble them in some sort of way shape or form. But only about 10 percent. That's it. Well, there's not much else to say about this game. I say it's definitely worth 2 bucks. It's one of the best iOS games out there. It is a precious gem that I will keep and treasure on my iPod Touch forever. I will never delete it. If you love 8 bit games and fast paced action games full of suspense, hit the App Store right now and buy this game. You won't regret it.
