Never has a Bethesda game felt so rewarding and satisfying. RPG fans will love it to death. PLAY IT NOW!!!
Skyrim is a story based RPG in many ways, but still in the same style as Oblivion, in the way that the story itself is not so much about the player, but more about the world in which you play. You will often find your self reading small books with some quite interesting stories, some fiction even to the game, and others about the history of Skyrim.
The combat system has become much more interesting, with abilities like combining spells and of course " SHOUTS." The movement system has also become much more fluid, like jumping while looking in 3rd person view actually looks and feels like a real jump, and also running and walking no longer looks like you'r on a fitness trainer, but the landscape follows the players movements now, and I find myself playing most of the game in 3rd person now.
Still this game will occasionally show it's bugs, the very ones that Bethesda is famous for leaving in their games, but still they don't make you wanna' play the game any less.
Slaying dragons is one of the coolest things in RPG gaming history, everybody likes it, and therefor it is a very welcome addition to The Elder Scrolls series. Never has a boss fight in a Bethesda game felt so rewarding and satisfying.
Any and all RPG fans are bound to love this game, and hopefully the bugs won't drag down your gaming experience.
