Skyrim is a good game, highly enjoyable with so many quests, but it lacks something that games like Dark Souls have.

I am gonna start by saying that I am not writing this review to talk about why this game is worse than Dark Souls. Because the two games are impossible to compare. They are completely different on every level.

Skyrim is a great standalone game, comparing with oblivion, I don't believe it's that special. Not that it's worse, but more like it's a little recycled.

Skyrim tells the tale of a land that's dieing. A land torn apart by Civil War, prejudice and even deadlier, Dragons. This is a land that is in desperate need of a hero, one that will unify Skyrim and eradicate dragons once and for all. You play as the Dragonborn, the ultimate dragon slayer. The first one in a while too. The Dragonborn is capable of not only killing dragons, but permanently devouring their power. The Dragonborn is the only person capable of learning a dragon shout by just killing a dragon. Anybody else looking to master dragon shouts needs years of hard disciplined training by the masters of "The Voice" that live in seclusion atop the highest mountain in Skyrim in a castle called High Hrothgar. The 4 Men that can teach you the way of the voice, have a leader, and the leader is in fact a dragon. The only dragon not hostile towards you immediately is actually your master. Besides the main quest to kill all dragons and their leader Alduin, there are numerous quests and quest-lines to complete. Such as joining the civil war, bringing honor back to the thieves guild, and joining or destroying the Dark Brotherhood. Skyrim is definitely a game that should be played if you even slightly enjoy Rpgs.
