In the dawn of CoD, an original FPS was born.
There is lots of detail put in this game that makes the game world look very convincing, and the art style is very well developed too, but above all is the story. This is the type of game in which you are always intrigued what will happen next. So much that I didn't want to complete optional quests. And we are talking an FPS game here.
Graphically this game looks like a cross generation game (PS2/PS3) since it's a very early PS3 game, especially the low resolution was very noticeable to me, but the visual style makes up for it.
None of the darkness powers felt tacked on, they are well thought out and implemented into the gameplay. The summonable darklings were useful, although I felt like I could complete the game without them, except the last epic fight with packs of mobsters.
