the wii game that should not be over looked...

This is my first review, lets see how it goes. So, I just beat the games yesterday and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. First I will talk about the single player mode and then the multiplayer mode.

The single player mode while short is still a lot of fun. There are all kinds of cool futuristic weapons and many kinds of enemies, while similar they are still different. Whether they are slashing at you, shooting you, or crashing into you like kamikazes they are all variations of a similar enemy. The graphics and art work are really good and realistic. The one thing that sucks is that there are no real boss fights just enemies that take more ammunition to kill. The controls are awesome, I have never played a game with this kind of customization. Every thing can be changed and you can do it during game play which allows you to see if you like the set up or not and then you can adjust it as you see fit. You are also allowed to change the placement of the items on the screen like the health bar, guns, ammunition, and radar icons. The story has many twist and turns which keeps you interested in what will happen next. The ending of the game (here comes a spoiler) sets you up for the second game which they are probably working on now. Meaning it kind of just ends and you feel like you've been left in the dark. I guess they did that to keep you wondering, but I thing they could have ended it a different way.

Now for the multiplayer. The multiplayer is a whole different beast. I did not beat the game until now just because I have been playing online most of the time. Its always easy to find other people playing online and you don't need friend codes to play with people, unless if you just want to play with friends then the friend codes come in handy. Being able to play with up to 12 different people which is cool. There are three game modes single free for all, team reaper, and team objective. Each having several modes with in them. I have only had problems with lagging or it freezing when trying to join a match a couple of times, but once you get on the fun truly begins.

Over all the I was glad that I preordered the game. If you do not have internet then I don't think you will be able to take full advantage of this game. However if you do then you will have lots of fun with this game. I think that it is a must have and that it should not be over looked just because of the reviews.
