The Conduit is nicely done, but in the end it's shallow.

This game has its awesome points. The graphics are phenomenal for a Wii game. Lots of time was spent in polishing this game...it's evident. The controls are infinitely customizeable and very responsive.

On the other hand, there are its negative points. The music is only okay. The layout of the game is uninspired. You are always fighting in some closed off area or corridor of some sort. The enemies are boring and repetitive after a while. And the game just doesn't have lasting appeal.

When I first began playing this game, I instantly thought about Perfect Dark for the N64. This game brought back fond memories of PD. I liked this game for a short time, but quickly got bored. Yes...maybe I am ADD, but still repetition is boring to me...I never felt wowed beyond the initial sight of the awesome graphics and controls. Each level seemed to be the same to me. And the ASE was gimmicky and unnecessary in my opinion.

I read that they are working on a sequel for the game, which I think is an awesome idea because the game has so much potential. If these issues are resolved in the sequel, I would say don't hesitate to pick it up. However, for this game I'm saying rental only.
