The game is a good buy now that you can get it pretty cheap, but I'd still say it's more of a rental.

The Good: Prettiest title on the PS2 in it's early states. The game play, though not as spectacular as the presentation, I found used the new pressure sensitive buttons of the Dual Shock controller nicely. The sound was on par with the graphics, with nice voice work and sound effects throughout. The punches sounded like they hurt like a mother.

The Bad: Holy God wasn't it short. The first time through took me about 3 hours if I remember correctly, and it only gets easier the next times through. Allowing you choose which of the three characters you want to play on each level is a nice touch, though if you plan on leveling up evenly, it makes the final boss fight (the only real hard fight in the game) all the more difficult and it makes getting all the story harder as you'll only get bits and pieces of each characters role in the greater scheme of things.

The Ugly: There is no ugly in this game. It's beautiful and sounds amazing. The only thing ugly in this game is how quick you can beat it.
