Can I just say right now how much I LOVED this game?! Because it was SO awesome! I thoroughly consider myself a fan of rock and roll music, especially if its retro! But if I was to EVER play a video game where the goal is to try to be as good of a rock and roller as you can be; than THIS was definitely the game at the TOP of that list! This video game is a labor of love, as Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, and the widows of John Lennon and George Harrison were all instrumental in lending their perspective as to how this video game should turn out. This video game does a pretty good job of following the careers of the Fab Four, from their early days at the Cavern in Liverpool, to their first appearance on Ed Sullivan, their years on tour (at Shea Stadium and the Budokan), their studio albums (such as Revolver, Sergent Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, Magical Mystery Tour, The White Album, Abbey Road), and their final live concert on the rooftops of the Apple Recording Studios. This video game not only contains several of their big hits, but some more obscure song choices as well. While you can choose to play the guitar or drums, my favorite was getting to sing along with The Beatles, and try to be as GREAT at singing as they were! The game is very graphically good, and the challenge never feels overwhelming. This is definitely a video game that DESERVES to be played!
