The best Action Adventure for NES!!

User Rating: 10 | Olympus no Tatakai: Ai no Densetsu NES
This has got to be the best action adventure game and possibly the best game of all on the NES. This game has so much to offer anyone, great gameplay, graphics, story, music, difficulty, length... everything about this game was top notch.

Gameplay: I can't speak highly enough for the gameplay found in Battle of Olympus. For a time that was known for games with sticky movement awkward handling this game shined above them all. Movement was fluid and attacks actually registered when you pushed the button. It was fun and fast paced, but quite difficult at times, which only made you want to keep trying to collect those olives (or whatever they were) for new gear and items. It had a nice password system so you could pick up where you left off and the Greek mythology story was done very well.

Graphics: The graphics were some of the best available for the NES. With great character and monster designs and the backgrounds and places you traveled through were colorful.

Sound: What can I say about the music but WOW! The music compositions and selections were perfect. They gave you a real feeling of being in the game world. I wanted to bow before all the gods I came across and the sounds were just as good.

Value: If you havn't played it you need to. There really aren't enough words to describe how good this game was and still is. I still go back to it even now for some good ol' NES fun. Battle of Olympus offers hours of gameplay and is still just as good the second or third time through.

Reviewers Tilt: I have a huge tilt for this game. It is one of my original NES favorites and always will be on the top of my all time favorites list. I say again if you havn't played this game you need to.
