$60 is steep, but the game is fun and I've spent more money on less entertainment before.

This game is not getting a very warm reception. No it is not the best movie tie-in ever made. That honor goes to Xmen Origins-Wolverine. Still, this game was very fun and very cool. The action was great and the atmosphere was awesome. It plays similarly to Gears of War. If you liked playing Gears of War and are a fan of the Terminator universe then you will like this game. I have bought all of the previous Terminator games. The best one until Salvation was Redemption. I think the reviewers are being too hard on the game. They are correct when they say that it isn't worth $60, but then very few games actually are. It just depends on you and what you want to spend. You are paying for the entertainment. What really gets me is that Gamespot gave the game a 5.0. Terminator: Dawn of Fate got a higher review and it wasn't near as awesome as this game is. I suppose the younger generation of gamers that live in a world of epic games ie. Fallout 3, Gears of War, Halo 3, Call of Duty 4, etc., that every game is going to be as good. Believe me when I tell you that if you are a fan of Terminator you will like this game. The $60 is relative.
