For a sequel to the ARCADE version, it's not bad. Nice job Konami/Ultra. :)

When this game came out, I was totally amazed that they would make a sequel to the arcade game/version either for arcade or NES. I was also impressed with the fact that they added more bosses, enemies, and larger maps.

GRAPHICS
=========
Okay, it's Nintendo, give it a break. Everyone knows that 8 color games are not the most exciting colors to watch and play, so understand that it's an old game. Now that we got that out of the way... The graphics are not bad for it's time. I have seen a lot worse than this from NES games. But overall, graphics, design, animations, and such are very well done. The animations are smooth and easy to follow. The backgrounds are very nicely designed and detailed so you can tell what you walk on and what part of town/city you are in. Even the ninja turtles and bosses are very nicely detailed to give the right detail and characteristic so you know what you are dealing with, as far as how they move. The updated and modified super moves is a nice touch to the animations. Each turtle has their own special attack that is unique to them. I also liked the added

CONTROL
=========
Very nicely programmed. The attacks and moves all react perfectly. The attacks are very nicely designed and programmed. I do like the added UPPER attack which is a major helper at times when things seem too close for comfort. The added Super move is a major helper as well. I like the fact that they made unique moves based on each turtle. All the moves are easy to do and there's very little learning required to play this game, which is a major plus. Some games shouldn't have to be complicated, and this is one game that offers very very little complications.

OVERALL

If you still own your NES, this is one game I know you will not be disappointed on. Very nice action, smooth animations, cool characters and bosses, this game you can't go wrong with. The difficulty is just right and you will enjoy the gameplay overall. COWABUNGA DUDES!!!
