TMNT 3 is a fair attempt to bring the classics beat em up games wich made the turtles famous
It is so unpleasent that the game only seems to give you some options of variety, but just because they at least exist in the game, well it is fair to say that TMNT 3 is worth playing once.
The game is basicly centered in one goal, so when you begin the game a menu will appear, giving you some options to choose from, as you can see there you will find the first flaw, there doesn`t exist files, so if you want to start the game again, without losing your first file, well then yuo`ll be making choices, for instance, you bought the game to remember some good beat em ups in the past, so go through it, but then you invite some old school friends to go through the game with them, but you can`t do it since there are no existing files to begin again.
After you choose new game to start your adventure you can pick from one of the four turtles, after that you can see there only three episodes so might be thinking that every episode gotta be awfully long, but NO! it ain`t long in any way.But well you begin playing the first episode, so you see a clip of the cartoon show to see why you are fighting those guys for, so you begin in the first area, probably you must`ve already heard of the arcade game that you can unlock so should be alert to see if you can find it, but well you begin, and some guys pop out from some doors, and you also realize that you are not alone because the other three turtles will be there for you, you start giving the strong or weak combo to any bad guy you see and done! mission clear! maybe you`ll see a clip or something but that`s about how every other mission in the game will be, although you may find in some variations like the hovers, or sailing in the skies, or motorcycles, or shuriken killers, or all that dull stuff that will not last long.
As you kill bad guys you will earn some crystals and with this crystals you can purchase some new combos and sikills for your turtle to have, so it can be RPG alike, but it`s not, and the other new feture you`ll find are the scrolls wich you fin in so areas and then you may be able to give to your turtle and this way its attack will be higher or defense or more health, stuff like that.
You can also find the ultimate turtle scroll at the last part of the game but the area where you find is so difficult that you won`t be wanting to have it anymore. After you go through the first episode you will unlock the arcade game and some free battles areas, in that moment you will play the arcade game but it is so updated that maybe a little frustrated sometimes.
The free battle mode allowes you to go through the same areas, only backwards, so it won`t be any interesting either.
You can also unlock some DVDs and see some cartoon clips, but they aren`t interesting either, perhaps some of them are on 3D but it`s just not good.
After all that you may realize how fair the game is with all this new features and everything, so everything is left to a simple thing, do you like or not beat em ups? If you don`t then this game will be trash for you, if you do you`ll find interesting features for you to play with.
