There's no way to go into more story-based detail than that without actually spoiling game elements, so I'll go into the details of traps and castle modification.

After gaining control of the Castle, at some point you will be given the ability to add rooms and hallways to the existing ones, using the money you made from the bodies of those you captured (That is, if you choose to kill them after capturing them, to receive Gold) and it is indeed a nifty feature to be able to actually set up your own passages and traps to sabotage the efforts of the castle intruders.

This game has several endings, depending on some of the important decisions made throughout it, and is worth replaying to see every one.

I would highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys "trap-em-ups", as few and far between as the genre may be, and especially for those who enjoy a well-written, mystical, and dramatic story.
