What can I say? It's free and it's brilliant

I've been meaning to get this game for a while now, but I've been engrossed in singleplayer experiences for the most part. However, as Valve made TF2 free it's definitely been worth my time, and it should be worth yours too. The main pulling factor of TF2 is its fun gameplay. Unlike other shooters this one won't make you rage, and its addictive nature comes not from the lure of uber powerful unlockable guns, but its gameplay mechanics that change with whichever of the 9 classes you choose. Each class is equally balanced and has unique and satisfying elements to act out. Whether you can't be bothered thinking after a hard long days work, or want to be stealthy and cunning it's all in there. It's also strangely comic, and the characters provide a few laughs. However TF2 turning F2P will not mean paying customers get an overpowering arsenal to dominate F2P players. Valve has promised an equal playing field. Its 92 on metacritic is well deserved, and it remains, 4 years after its launch a genuinely FUN game.
