I would ask that you rent this game first before buying. The only free roaming that you can do is in the dungeons. You take quests from the guild that your in and and go into the dungeon and complete it. Then you get another quest and repeat the process. It does increase difficulty as you progress which is good because some quests in the beginning of the game have you go and harvest plants and such. If your a fan of the tales series then I don't recommend this game. I can say that this game has pretty good graphics. I give it a 5.
