Buyer's Remorse

I'm sorry to say that this is probably the worst game I have ever played. It is so completely aggravating that I want to take the UMD disk out and smash it with a hammer! Now, that I have that out of my system I'll tell you why I think this.

I never liked games with 'storylines' that force you into a single path and allows for absolutely no creative play. The fact that you are locked into little rooms...mini 'stage sets' where these inane 'skits' waste your time but you can't just move from one location to another without passing through the menu. It just makes for incredibly jagged and jerky gameplay even if the quests were in anyway interesting which they are not.

But I save my most profound contempt for the completely useless 'battle system' which is best characterized as 'move and die'. Even in the most banal and boring quests, one or two dungeon encounters is enough to 'KO' you and send you back to the beginning and there doesn't appear to be anything that you can do about it. No controls seem to be any better. You die just as fast on 'auto' as on 'manual' fighting modes. I have never completed a single quest even at the most basic level...why would I want to needlessly frustrate myself by continuing to play this very poor game. Can I give a negative rating?
