Although the story is cliche, the battle system and characters truly bring the game to life.

When I first caught wind of this game I was a bit skeptical, I was doubtful that it could compare, however I decided to play it and I got just what I asked for....A tales game.

Graphics.
Graphically the game is ok, I do like the art style alot however.

Gameplay.
THe highlight of the tales series is of course it's battle system. This game unlike symphonia goes back to the 2d roots of snes and ps1 days. It is alot of fun and is fastpaced. The bosses provide just enough challenge, and and the climax mode is always fun to have. the only downside the the gameplay were the puzzle booths, which tried to replicate ToS's puzzle filled dungeons, and it didn't quite compare.

Sound.
The sound was okay, the music was nice, and the voice acting was listenable, but not great.
