Tales of Graces F

User Rating: 9 | Tales of Graces f PS3

Tales of Graces F, a quite enjoyable name in the amazing genre of Japanese Role-Playing Games (JRPG's). It holds one of the nicest development systems in the game (under my own opinion of course), which are based on titles and levels, which unlock you new artes and stats. Along with this, there is a very nice exploration factor, with secret little trails that one may not notice (at first glance), puzzles, etc. It has a new A-Arte's system, ranging from smaller attacks with multiple combos, overall inflicting a moderate amount of damage, and perhaps inflicting some effect, such as stun, or stone, or freeze. The usual, quite powerful B-artes are in the game as well, and most of you who have avidly followed the Tales of... series will recognize. Combined, it makes for a great experience in battle. Finally, there are so many side quests that it will take you a long time to finish them all, perhaps going over 100 hours of gameplay (if you really want to master the game). However, this makes it all the more fun, making you look in places you've never found before, traversing through multiple dungeons, finishing a tournament, so on and so forth. The plot itself is quite nice, with some twists and turns, and some developing love interests (I can already hear the fans OTPing about certain couples), how long the plot was as well, as it started from their childhood. It shows good development! (People sometimes don't like this, so once, again, THIS IS ONLY MY OPINION. Don't troll and, if you want, speak your opinion in a nice convo with me!) I personally loved this game, the only real problem, in the entire game, would be the graphics, as I believe that the game was originally designed for Wii, it is a bit low on that, but TOTALLY WORTH IT.

Auxilary Things: Along with all the main stuff above, this game has a simply beautiful opening, featuring the english version of White Wishesby singer BoA. Along with this, it has pretty awesome anime cutscenes (as shown in the Picture #2 below). It also has the new Lineage and Legacies section, which isn't in the original Wii release, but continues the story, and thank god, because it was great as well. The shuttle system is later added on, giving players who don't like to travel on foot, to fly to the place they wish to immediately.
