What I have been waiting for!!!
Though the game is not completely in 2D, for the most part it is. The game improve is so many ways. Namely the new fighting system work really well. The new food system that would allow you to heal yourself after every battle is also useful. The upgrade items system is very very helpful considering you are not going to get that much money from monsters early in the game. Graphic improvement is incredible!!! I have never seen anything so vivid and alive, and in 2D! Soundtracks is as lively as ever! I'm so glad that they have decide to leave the soundtracks just the way they are, only improve upon them. Making it one of the best game music I have heard in years. Even better than FFXII (In the term of soundtracks that is, I still have to debate that FFXII might have a better sound effects.)
If you like RPG, try this one out because you are going to love it. And if you are alraedy the "Tales" series fan it's going to impress you, and blow you away.
Now if only Square-Enix would remake FFVII. I would be the first one in line.
