The second to the ever popurlar Tales of Destiny.
Tales of Destiny 2 is the sequal to the first. It takes after the events when Stahn and his friends completed their quests and said goodbye to their swordians. Now this story's main character is Kyle, Stahn and Rutee's son. He and his brother (not related) Loni, goes into the ruins to look for lens. Till they found one and Kyle touched it. The lens exploded and out comes a girl looking for a hero, Kyle thinks he is but she says he isn't. The girl leaves and Kyle and Loni gets captured for some reason. They ended up in a cell and Tales fans will meat a familiar voice and face.
Gameplay:
Like other tales games, it takes place of a line battle in 2d. The magic and techniques are computer generated so they add in the effect of the battle. Fighting monsters and bosses will get any tales fan into the game. This time the added in a SP guage. Which is like the adrenaline of people before they get tired. So once in a while you have to stay back to get the SP guage up. The techniques or artes have extensions now, at a certain point the techniques will get stronger by using extensions. Like using Kyle's Souhajin, after using that hit the attack button and he will slash the enemy twice. The Hi-ougi's in the game are awesome, but it takes time to accomplish them, and they have to be used when you are in The soul blast mode and the technique that is equiped to it.
Overall:
The game and story is nice. Even though it is in japanese. This game is a must get for tales fans. So just imported off the internet and have fun with it. If you have an American PS2, the game will not work. You just have to find a way around that.
