Tak and the power of the juju may look like a colourful platformer but its far from any mario or crash bandicoot game!!!

User Rating: 5.1 | Tak and the Power of Juju PS2
Tak follows the story of a young boy called Tak who is forced out on a bug adventure to save the hero of his villiage where some where in the proccess of doing so becomes one him self, unintentionally of cause.
The developers took too much time making colourful worlds to explore and comepleatly for got about the game play because the whole game, or where I got to before returning it to get my money back, consists of you going out to collect items. "Tak go and collect 100 of these" gets pritty damn boring after an hout or so of playing through.
As I said, the developers spent too much time creating colourful worlds, but even then the graphcs and frame rate on the game are poor. The game controlls well but that's purley because its so easy and the pad controlls are set out like every other average platformr eg: X to jump.
The voice acting in the game is pritty good and the characters are veryover the top but the lip sinking is atroshous. The games surposed to have about 7-10 hous on it but you'll get bored way before that and'll return it before you get 5 hours through so I'd rent it, don't folk out £40.00 for it, you'll be very dis satisfied.
All in all, Tak controlls well, but the extreamly repetative game play makes for a crap way to spend your good money on, so go and buy a Sly Raccoon game, and check out the review.
