When i started playing syndicate i only considered it as a game for passing time while waiting for the next major game release. I planned to stop playing syndicate as soon as i got my hands on something better. But to my surprise syndicate not only turned out to be good but also had excellent shooting mechanics and so incredibly amazing that i got hooked onto it. Syndicate was a game that i had ignored for so long as none of my friends spoke much about it or even tried. It failed to make as much of a splash as COD MW 1, 2 or 3 during its release. It's score on game spot also failed to impress me. The only visible flaw i see in syndicate is an initial training mission that is a bit of a bore and a story that is just plain lousy and forgettable. The shootouts in this game is however unforgettable.
I might even say that it rivals COD MW games at various parts and is a must play shooter that will never disappoint you. My only regret is that there is no sequel to this game yet and that this game has become an underrated gem, one that will thrill and surprise any gamer who wants a break from COD shooters but want to try something on somewhat the same level.
