SWAT 4 is a masterpiece among today's shooters.
The weapon choices are great. With options like a shotgun that shoots beanbags and a pepperball gun that are unlethal to a 9mm SMG. Depending upon your mission, you have to choose your gun wisely. Gameplay is wonderful, but can feel a little repetitive after a bit. Chasing down suspects and breaching doors in true officer fashion is delightful. The levels are intresting and uniqe, and always have you looking for the next suspect. Graphics are superb, and really add more to the game. The player models are great and the scenery in levels is superb. Sound is fun to listen to, with officers barking commands at civillians and suspects alike. Multiplayer is where the game really excels. The matches are fun and always different. It adds a whole other area to the game with the choices. The expansion pack just adds to it all, providing new maps and a better storyline, something SWAT 4 lacks. If you are a fan of good shooters, SWAT 4 Gold Edition is what you need to get.
