One of the most epic 3D fighting games ever made.
Hal laboratories and Nintendo then released a game in 1999 which was titled Super Smash Bros. and it was like that the characters that you use were like toys brought to life but many people may not notice that. You can choose from eight Nintendo characters from the start who are Mario, Link, Kirby, Fox McCloud, Samus Aran, DK, Yoshi and Pikachu. There are also four unlockables and they are Ness from Earthbound, Captain Falcon from F-Zero, Jigglypuff from Pokemon and Luigi from Mario Bros.
You can select from eight arenas and unlock one which is the Mushroom Kingdom from the Super Mario games. This time there is no energy bar or life but rather there is a percentage bar and when your percentage is like in 100% you can expect to start flying out of the arena. The trademark Team Rocket disappearance in the sky is also in this game.
There are also various items like the Hammer from the classic Donkey Kong game in which Jumpman uses it to destroy the things that Donkey Kong throws down, there is also the Beam Sword, a Star Rod, baseball bat and when you use this on an opponent even if they are in 0% you go out, there is a Recovery Heart which brings down your percentage to 0% automatically, a Maxim Tomato which take like 60-80% from your Percentage, a Poke Ball which can bring out various Pokemon, a fan, etc.
The game is very fun to play in the one player mode for some time but gets boring, but that's why there is a multiplayer mode. You can choose Free-for-all or team battle, in free-for-all it's every man for themselves and in team you can do a team battle either 3 vs. 1 or 2 vs. 2. The game can get boring in multiplayer mode too if you don't have friends to play it with so if you have friends especially three friends to play with this can get very interesting.
To wrap this all up the game is a very good fighting game but gets boring if you don't have enough friends to play with.
