It is difficult to find a DS game which lets you explore more options than are just "decided" for you on the software. Super Scribblenauts is the game where thinking out of the box will allow a child to use many problem solving skills. This game is designed to allow one to explore the vast reaches of their imagination in order to come up with solutions. Our child was looking for a game where he could not only make decisions, but use more problem solving skills. The more unique words he punched into the DS, the more interesting the game. An extremely useful feature for my son, was the spell check... he is not the best speller, so it was nice that the game gives him options to what he is trying to say. Unfortunately, the game is limited as far as what words were recognized. For example, when my son was fighting a T-Rex, he typed in the word, "light saber," and the game was unable to recognize what that was, nor did it know who Darth Vader was either, (and who doesn't know that??). So that was a bit disappointing. Hopefully the next generation of Scribblenauts will allow more unique objects to be typed in and show up on the screen... then the possibilities for the character truly would be endless. All and all, my son LOVES this game. It is unlike any other we have seen thus far.
