A wonderful game continues the epic boxing classic.

User Rating: 9.5 | Super Punch-Out!! SNES
Graphics: The graphics in this game are extremely and well detailed. They have a sort of cartoony-feel to it, and the view is similar to the original Punch-Out games. The view is closer to the player, however, close to the DC game Ready 2 Rumble. Each opponent is drawn out very nicely and the anatomy is excellent. A definate plus in this game.

Sound/Music: Everything audio in here is awesome. There is voice-acting in this game that is crispy clear and fits each character. The music isn't exactly anything to get excited about, but it's nicely and well made. The sounds are rather good to hear. You buy a fighting game, you expect to hear groans and punches, and added silly sounds. This is the one.

Difficulty: If you manage to keep a good pace and are fast, it should be a "piece of cake" as the main character says. Otherwise, it'll be a bit of a challenge, as each enemy has their own form of attack.

Gameplay: The idea of the game is to fight a number of boxers and win your way at the top of the ladder as you collect belts. The main idea is the same, although there is no Little Mac or Mike Tyson in this game. You play as an average-height blonde man instead. Some of the classic boxers are still in this however, such as Bald Bull, and he's not changed at all. You are able to go into time attack mode and fight previously fought boxers that you've beaten in the different belts.

Controls: They take a little while to learn but really aren't much different from the NES one. There's some new things added, obviously from the fact the SNES controller is bigger.

Overall: This is the best boxing game for the SNES hands down, that's just pure fact. Everything about this game is awesome and makes it worth the money, well worth it. I've been playing this since I was a wee lad and I still play it this very day, every fight is something new to me.
