this is no doubt the best metroid game in the series ..samus returns to the planet zebes in search of the metroid larva ...in doing so when you return all is quiet ...but the planet will soon be crawling with life .. you will fight the likes of crocomire,draygon,kraid,ridley,and of course mother brain.. the planet zebes is a vast enviroment ...the graphics were some of the best ive ever seen even today with all these new systems being or have already been released. example-in a part of the game there is a dead body and there are some kind of space flies on it samus runs past it and the flys leave ...i just thought that was creative for the time....lets move on to the music ..this games music was the est and to me is still the best music from a videogame..take maridia for example it gives you the most isolated and spooky feel and makes you feel as if you were actually in the game.now in saying all that i have to say this is the best game then and its the best game now. .....yep lol
