The first Mario soccer game and it's really fun with great multiplayer.

This is the first Mario soccer game and it is also one of the best Mario sports game so far. The single player can be a good way to practice for some of the best multiplayer experiences you will have in a long time. That is not to say that the single player is boring because it is not. It can seem to get repetitive after a while but the challenge to get all the cups makes you keep on coming back for more. But after that the only thing you will have left to do is play with some friends. The game-play is really solid and it's simple to learn and challenging to master. There are many cool power-ups in the game that makes the game more frantic and unexpected. Another cool thing is that randomly Bowser will sometimes appear and cause havoc during the match and it is really cool to see how that is effecting your game. The disappointing thing about the game is that the stadiums don't really add to the gameplay but that is tolerable considering that the game is still fun to play without that. It would have been a welcomed addition though. The graphics look good and there are some nice little touches to the animation and the look that makes the game seem more violent than you would expect from a Mario game. The sound is done very well and i love hearing the screaming in pain of a character when they get smacked into the electric fence. It is done perfectly so that it is funny to hear but at the same time makes it believable that they are getting hurt. That being said the frame-rate does drop when there is a-lot of action on screen at once, but if you are in an intense game there is a chance that you might not notice it at all. In the end this game is fun but if they could have added some more features and depth into the game and also had a smoother frame-rate this might have been one of the best mario sports games ever made.
