Enchanting Game. Unmatchable Memories
Going straight through the game wasn't all easy. Levels 6-7 were tough, though 8 was a breeze. And the 'flutes' that would transport you to foreign levels was great, you'd go straight to bowzer's land, or stick around in the ice level.
And in the sub-mission on level 8 where you had to get across that long boat as the screen scrolled, you could just keep pressing a while you swam underneath the bottomside of the boat, and someone would make you laugh or you'd have an itch and you'd die because you weren't banging away at the A button. hah
What a classic, an extremely well put together game, especially for that time period and the limits they had with the system. Mario 3 was what propelled 'Mario' into the next decade.
