This is a very spot on port of the original Nes games, and updates each of the games with an added save feature (up to four saves per game), the ability to save at any time, updated 16-bit graphics and sound, and some nice art work for the games in the menu. The only issue that i have with this game, is that the controls are a bit on the slippery side, and can lead to some accidental and frustrating deaths. But even that is a bit of a nitpick, and i'm sure many gamer's will have no problem with the controls.
There isn't really a lot that i have to say about this game, other than that it holds some of the greatest platformers ever, on one cartridge. This is also the very first time North American gamer's were introduced to the original Super Mario Bros. 2, called ''The Lost Levels'' in this game. I could make separate reviews for each of the originals, but there isn't much that i can say that isn't obvious, or hasn't already been said. Super Mario Bros. is the absolute classic that launched the Italian plumbers career, and Super Mario Bros. 3 is considered the greatest Nes game of all time, which i could easily agree with.
You could not go wrong with buying this game, it is an absolute gem, and i would highly recommend it to any gamer.
