They havent made games like this for years. Nostalia at it's best, though it is a direct port of the original All Stars.

User Rating: 8 | Super Mario All-Stars (Super Mario Bros. 25th Anniversary Limited Edition) WII
Rather than spend time describing each game (as who has honestly not played these classics) this review is for the overall content and bundle package.

Mario All Stars Wii is a direct port of the non-SNES bunbled All Stars; the graphics, the sounds, the music, though the controls are different depending on the controller used.

For those that wonder, this disc DOES NOT contain Super Mario World. Which seems like a rather dumb decision on Nintendo's part. The artbook and soundtrack disc also leave much to be desired and there could have been better tracks chosen to be on the disc. While some might see this pack as a cash-in, others will see it as a chance to get their hands on some of the best games of all time for a budget 29.99$ bundle. If you are out looking for this do your best to get it soon, as it is supposed to be a very limited release.

Each game though; Mario Bros 1-3 and Lost Levels is a classic and masterpiece in it's own right. These games established Nintendo as a major player in the gaming market and helped turn around the gaming industry from the hole it was fast approaching.

If you have a soft spot for old-school goodness, this collection is a good way to go. Everyone should have a chance to experience the games that defined the platforming genre.
