Despite the age, still Addicting!!

WOW! Nearly 15 years after it's initial release on the NES, Nintendo has brought back Super Mario Bros. 3 in the form of Super Mario Advance 4 to the GBA. I must say, that considering its age, it still packs quite a punch. Viewed to be one of the most brilliant games to come out in Video Game history, SMB3 still carries the fundamental elements that made it a hit on the NES and the SNES (Super Mario All-Stars). It still retains the core features such as the music, the graphics (from the SNES but more enhanced particularly on the GBA) and a new feature of the voice sound effects of Mario, Luigi, and Peach; something that didn't exist in the original version. The whole idea of the game is quite simple. Your job is to restore the Kings of 7 different worlds and eventually battle Bowser to save Princess Peach/Toadstool. You go from one end of the world map to the other gaining valuable power-ups as well as essential lives which can be acquired by the loads. I just brought this game and it sends me back to 1989-1990 when I brought this game for the NES and played it with my mom. Even right now, i'm still trying to convince my mom to play it again. We did have some fun times. Thank You Nintendo for bringing back all the fun and exciting memories of the past!!!
