Super Mario 64 is an amazing game for what it is. It is one of the first games released for the N64, yet it is one of the best. It blends huge, detailed levels and addictive, fast, puzzle-based gameplay in a very good way. It makes you ask strange questions like: "How the heck am I going to get my hat back from that giant bird!" and "How do I get my hat back from that little monkey!" or even "How do I get my hat back now that that giant snowman blew it off when I was trying to cross his path while hiding behind a giant penguin". But seriously, it took the N64 to the top along with #1, 007 Goldeneye.
