When I first started playing this game, I was like "bleh". It looks ugly. It sounds ugly. The camera is more than ugly. And could go on, but I won't. My point is that this isn't a game you will see and think "I gotta play that!!!" right away. But, after awhile the story grows on you. The gameplay becomes somewhat addicting. You start to get sick of the repetitive combat, but then you get more story or some other gameplay option to keep you hooked. And you really start getting into the game. So if you have a Gamecube and need a RPG, give Summoner a rental. You might find you want to buy it after awhile.
