Atlus you done it again!

User Rating: 8.8 | Summon Night: Craft Sword Monogatari GBA
Ok i have never once played a bad game by atlus and this does not let down.

Story: You are a boy/girl who is the desendant of a hero. Your Father was a Crafts Knight which is a person who crafts weapons and fights with them. so character wants to follow in fathers footsteps, finds out theres something bigger going on an so on (you know the drill) its not a stunning storyline but its not bad so you wont not care and skip dialoue.

Gameplay: It has great gameplay when you get into a random encounter it will go into 2d sidescrolling at which point you a hack and slash your opponents with your weapon. (you get to choose from swords, axes, spears, knuckles, and drills.) I found the Fighting very entertaining and i am sure that most people would too. One of the main points of the game is to craft weapons. you collect materials in the dungeon then use them to craft your weapons. Dont worry your given recipes. Another perk is that at the beginning of the game you are given a summon beast which is a living thing which will follow you talk to you and help you fight (they do magic stuff) there are 4 different beasts (which one you get is determined by a short 4 question quiz) Each one is very unique and neat.

Length: The game is not very long i beat it in around 10 hours but it would take longer if u crafted every weapon plus after you beat it you are able to go back to your file and go deeper into the dungeon.

Replayability: Lots of Replayability will come out of this game first off you get to choose if you want to be a boy of a girl (each one has different diaglogue) plus theres different dialougue from your summon beast. There are a bunch of different after credits endings. (theres only one real ending but depending on who you talked to you will get a different after credits conversation.)

Overall: This is a very entertaining game and will be loved by any fan of rpg's. However if you want a game to last you a long long time you may want to look elsewhere.
