Sudeki is worth replaying

User Rating: 8.8 | Sudeki XBOX
I just finished playing Sudeki for the second time. This time around I found the experience to be much more enjoyable than the first time around. I even changed my rating from 8 to 9. I think that knowing what was going on and where to find different quest items made the game run much smoother this time around. I really didn't like running around scrambling to find things with no clues to follow. Anyway, if you weren't sure about it the first time, give Sudeki another play. The character design and the graphics are attractive and somewhat reminiscent of anime designs, a plus in my opinion. The gameplay was a bit clunky and the camera angles weren't alway conducive to character visibility. In some of the fights the camera would zoom away from the battlefield and then you would lose track of your character. In addition, it would have been nice to have more control over the AI for the supporting characters. It was a pain to have to switch characters at the beginning of combat to activate some spell and then switch to another character. It would have been nice to not only select the default combat attitude, but also select default opening combat move such as casting Iron Warrior or something. However, Sudeki is a great game.
