If you like 1943 or 1942 by Capcom you will appreciate Strikers 1945!

I thought I owned this on the PS1 till I noticed it is actually Strikers1945 II. Strikers 1945 part 1 was only released on the Saturn/arcade and Agetec only ported part 2 to the PS1. I think Strikers 1945 is a better game for 2 reasons #1 it was first and #2 the second game did not add anything new that the first one did no have.

The Striker series pays homage to the 1942 1943 series by Capcom. I think that they did a nice job and it is fun to play the music is loud enough so you can hear it and the weapon sound effects does not take away from the music. The gameplay is pretty standard so you will not see any type of special scoring scheme such as multiplier scoring. But you will find a frantic shooter like 1943 with more detailed graphics and moving back and fore ground. You get the choice of 6 different planes. Also 3 different screen types fixed, scrolling and the last being arcade style. But who wants to put their TV on its side?! Also this game is English friendly!

I totally recommend this game!
