Once again CAPCOM screws the fans. People giving this a "9" or higher are not true fans.

Lets get something straight right now, CAPCOM served the fans an unfinished P.O.S. While both fighting game franchises are excellent, CAPCOM has really gotten into the mind to milk every title down to the last penny. I knew this was not going to be the version to buy after falling victim to SF4 and MVC3. As a gamer who has been playing SF games since the early 90's and has over 25 SF and Tekken games in his collection, CAPCOM has really resorted to low-balling the consumers with their vanilla releases. First thing I went to after booting up the game was the move lists. This would tell me everything I needed to know about how vanilla this version would be and boy was I right!. Just like SF4, it only has one super combo per fighter. We all know they will release a *updated* version months from now with a few new features and characters unlocked off the already finished product. Which brings me to my next point, taking nearly a quarter of the roster and then locking them out only to resell the finished product as "DLC" is such a b**** move CAPCOM! This company deserves every bad thing that happens to it. On a positive note, the game can be fun if you enjoy fighting games as I do but you can't help feeling like CAPCOM just loves giving the middle finger to its longtime fans. It used to be fans would wait years for a new version and even though it was the same practices that CAPCOM does today, you didn't feel it as much. If you're a Tekken fan and want to see how your favorite fighter stacks up then you should be warned. CAPCOM made this and as usual, their guys reign supreme. This is no surprise however, I fully expected it but the way the Tekken guys were implemented, it could have been better. One thing is for sure, Tekken works as a 3D fighter and SF works as a 2D fighter so trying to mix the two is like mixing oil and water. Seeing people give this a 9 or 10 tells me they are not true long time fans and don't know what they are talking about. They are just caught up with having a new game bought by mommy and daddy. I bought this game on release day and am just now reviewing it. You cannot truly review a game correctly if you write the review after only owning it for a few hours. If you want the definitive version then wait a few months and it will be out but until then...............FIGHT!
