It's no Super Street Fighter II Turbo, but it's still peachy
The graphics are choppy and weak, and I love them. Street Fighter created a fan base with this 2D style, and they were wise to stick with it over the years. Mortal Kombat and Tekken may have looked good in 3D, but they were no match for Street Fighter's style. Not only is 2D less confusing, but it's less distracting as well.
The music in this game is great, and so are the sound effects. You can't understand the voices of the characters most of the time, but who cares? You just care about fighting right! RIGHT!?
The replayability of this game is unquestionable. There are many characters to play as, so even if you beat the game, you still want to go through and beat it again with someone else. In closing, Street Fighter 2 is a great game all around. It's easy, but it's not a walk in the park at the same time. Toward the end of the game the fights get harder, and I guarantee you will not beat M. Bison on your first attempt. Multiplayer adds more value to this title also, because once you beat the game, you know you want to beat the crap out of your friends as well. SF2 is a solid purchase, and it's well worth your while.
