Street Fighter Zero 3 made the gameplay more technical and the characters more balanced and it's a great fighting game.
SF Zero 3 allows you to stun an opponent for a split second with 1 powerful blow(such as an uppercut or roundhouse kick)and you can follow it up with a combo attack.
The characters can choose 3 different fighting styles(X-ism,V-ism,A-ism)which affects how they can use super combos,what type of basic moves they can do,whether or not they can block in the air or whether or not they can perform counters.A-ism is gives the character a 3 level super combo guage,so they can do weaker super combos more regulary.X-ism forces your character to charge their super combo meter up to full before they can use a super combo,but it will be very powerful and do a lot of damage.V-ism allows the player to do custom combos.
The damage caused by hadoken projectiles has been reduced even more and even though the shotokan style of fighting is still a very effective fighting style,there's now other fighting styles that have special moves that can do more damage than the shotokan style's special moves.But the shotokan style still has a technical edge over the other fighting styles.
But otherwise it's the same Street Fighter that many people love.The AI opponents in SFZ3 are smarter in how they use speed,technique and strategy than in the SFZ 1 and 2.I like how characters such as Chun Li and Sodom(who were technically flawed and predictable in the first 2 SF Zero games)are much tougher now(Chun Li is a tough opponent in SF Zero 3 and can attack you from awkward angles with very fast aerial kicks.
SF Zero 3 contains every SF character who's made an appearance in any of the SFII or previous SF Zero/Alpha games(so there's a roster of over 40 characters).I like how the character stats are presented on the screen and you'll prefight and postfight announcements.
This is a great fighting game and changed the SF Zero series for the better.
