Genre defining experience. Famed developers Excalibur Publishing have yet another hit on their hands.
Upon opening the 405 page manual for "Street Cleaning Simulator," I was greeted with incredibly easy to understand instructions. After 1-3 times reading cover to cover i felt ready to install the game.
First thing i noticed were the breathtaking visuals. Excalibur has always been known for gripping gameplay and rich story telling, but not until this experience have I seen truly next gen graphics in one of their titles. I was dissapointed that the game wasn't 3D compatible, but i can't truly fault them for that due to the added development time involved.
The campaign in this game is very non-linear. You truly have the ability to customize your character in several ways. While not a true RPG, there are definitely RPG-esque elements. Despite having logged 245 hours to date, i am still only about 67% through the game (*Note: This game WILL get you hooked, it's best to set up some boundaries right from the start as to keep your job, loved ones, etc).
This game is a must have for fans of the Bus Simulator series and anyone who enjoys sims in general. Stick with it, once you get through the tutorial, you will be treated to possibly the most enriching experiences the world has to offer.
