Here's an idea...Go pick up SOE1 because this game is...*Deleted for younger audiences*...well it's just a waste of time

This game is one of the worst games I have played in recent years. Just as bad as 25 to Life, which is another waste of time. This isn't much of a surprise with the fact that Rockstar has nothing to do with this project, though the same development team is here. Though if Rockstar was still producing this game I don't think they would let something like this happen to what was once a great game. This game feels absolutely nothing like the original, the hectic feeling is far gone. They spent too much time putting a story into a game that doesn't need one and too little time making the game actually fun. For a game that should be fast-paced and fun, this game is way too hard making you have to replay missions over again for more times than you would want. Playing these missions once is enough and even that might be too much. I must say that this game has made me remember how much fun I had with the original, which led me to pick it up again for old times.

First off the graphics are just ugly and behind the times. The animations and overall presentation are just completely lacking. There really isn't anything positive I can say about this game. It's been years since the original came out and I would expect to see some significant improvements visually, but I can honestly say that there really isn't much of a change from SOE to SOE2. Also in this game they don't even have as many NPC's on screen which doesn't make any sense at all.

As far as the sound goes there's nothing special and the voice acting is absolutely horrible, which goes well with the ridiculous story of the game. Are you really expecting to see some great writing here, because apparently DC Studios thought was great. The gameplay is horrible as well, with the game being based around guns, thus losing its real sense of rioting. You can no longer pick up random items such as TV's and Radio's which is a real shame.

I will end this by just saying that this game is horrible, no matter who you are this is just a waste of time. This game isn't fun and it isn't enjoyable in anyway, unless you think it's so bad that it's actually good. If you want to play a great game, then go and pick up a copy of State of Emergency, the original. If what you want is some mindless, rioting fun then SOE is what your looking for and it won't cost you too much either.
