Took few years but Heart of the Swarm is a worthy sequel!

The game takes place immediately after the battle on char in wings of liberty. Kerrigan, our anti hero, is no longer the queen of blades because she was transformed back into a human by the powerful xel naga artifact. Kerrigan's story and character development is pretty good, and her new abilities are bad ass!

Playing primarily as the zerg for almost the entire campaign was more enjoyable than I thought it would be. There is a brief terran campaign that is pretty fun, and the dialogue between characters solidly adds to the story. The ability to mutate units adds replayability to the campaign and gives you an incentive to wanna try out different unit combinations. The primal zerg campaign touches on the origin of the zerg and paves the way for the next chapter in the series. It took me under 10 hours to play through and beat the campaign on normal. If I had one issue with HOTS, this would be my one complaint as I do wish the single player campaign was longer. The ending will leave most wanting more, in the next sequel to this series I hope the campaign is longer. I have not had a chance to play multiplayer yet, but it seems it is every bit as fun as the last game.
