****HOOPSTAR789's Review on Star Wars the Force Unleashed.****
1. GRAPHICS- This game is beautyful. from junkyard Raxus Prime to the fungi land of Felucia, this game's enviroments come to life. The games lighting effect, force effect and Chacter models look fantastic. But great graphics come with a price. This game suffers from pop-up textures from time to time but you will get a drop in FPS also about 2 times an hour, but other than that, this game looks gorges.
2. GAMEPLAY- This game has some pretty unique gameplay. Controlling the Force and doing lightsaber combos are pretty sweet but this game has some of the worst targeting systems ever. While useing the force, you lock on to whatever direction you are looking at and while your looking there can be several objects on screen and will confuse the game to pick the object that you least needed, The A.I. is pretty smart but gets you in quite a lot of cheap shots occasional which will have you bring a lil frustrated. The ragdoll effect in this game is one of the best I have ever seen but most of the time you will be to caught up in the action to see the Ragdoll effect. Anotherthing that bugged me is that the boss fights were 10-15 minutes a piece. I guess they tried to put that Classic Star Wars feeling but failed to do so.
3. STORY- This is where the game truly shines. This game has the best Star Wars story ever to be put in a video game. The story contains many twists and turns and will keep you wanting more until you beat the game. The ending was extremely disappointing and by far not the happy Star Wars endings I rember like the movies, even when the bad guy wins, But this game's ending really made me PO"ed and I was shocked that they came up with such an excellent story and then they messed it up with a crappy ending. big shocker there.
4. OVERALL- Overall this game was quite fun but once you beat the game and get the disatisfying ending, there isn't really a reason to give it a second go unless you plan on makeing a walkthrough. The game is one of those games that thought it could be flawless, but when it released, it felt like that the devlopers were trying to rush it out faster then they can come up with ideas. OVERALL this game is an absoulte rent and maybe a buy if your a true Jedi Knight. That concludes my review for Star Wars the Force Unleashed.
