Probably the most notable GameCube launch title, Rogue Squadron II successfully showcases the machine's impressive graphics and audio capabilities. In this game, you pilot a variety of craft as either Luke Skywalker or his friend Wedge Antilles (depending on the mission) and visit numerous locales from the original Star Wars® trilogy. Most of the missions are not actually from the movies, but fit in very well with the saga's storyline. The special effects and the voice acting are all done very nicely. However, a few frustratingly difficult levels and lack of multiplayer options take a small toll on the fun factor.
