KOTOR is easily the best and most immersive experience I have ever had in a Star Wars game and stands as one of the best games on the XBOX. This game has an amazing story with characters that you really can get into especially the very cool villian, Darth Malak. KOTOR lets you choose the path of the Jedi Knight or turn to the Dark Side and become a Sith Lord. This also sets this game apart from almost all other RPG's. Depending on your actions and conversation choices you will earn points to either the light or dark side. This is really good game design because they make the path toward the dark a quicker and easier one just like it is portrayed in the movies. I have been through both and find them equally enjoyable. This also gives this game great replay value that can last over 100 hours of gameplay depending on the player.
Knights lets you explore plenty of worlds including Luke's home planet of Tatooine. There are also plenty of side missions and mini games that will keep you busy for hours. Pazzak especially it is kind of like blackjack. The combat is fast paced and enjoyable, especially the use of force lightning. I mean come on who doesn't enjoy using a lightsaber and force powers. The only minor complaints I have is there are some frequent load times, long winded conversations, and a few graphical hiccups now and then. So if you are impatient gamer then it might be frustrating, but overall KOTOR is a must play experience that should not be missed.
